What is SITS?The Navys Sports and Training Center (SITS) has the overall responsibility for the follow-up of military sports and training (MIT) in the Navy. The primary task is to provide support to operational departments and promote strength production of physical capacities. This includes education, training, training in connection with training / deployment and maintenance of physical performance. In addition, the center conducts counseling, guidance, development and quality assurance within the subject area MIT, injury prevention and diet.The main focus of SITS is to operationalize knowledge about physical training, performance development, diet and injury prevention to function-oriented competence and training for military personnel.
